Dyno Rental — Hourly

Tuning Platform Support
Platform/software-specific pricing will be populated in the next pricing milestone. The booking structure already captures the tuning platform and vehicle details.
Pre-Dyno Inspection
The shop's detailed inspection form remains internal. Customers see this plain-language overview before booking.
- The full CP Motorsports pre-dyno inspection is required for tuning/calibration and break-in tuning services. It is not part of a standard hourly dyno rental.
- For tuning services, CP Motorsports checks fuel level, compression and requested leak testing, boost/vacuum/charge piping, fuel leaks, cooling and oil/fluid condition, exhaust/O2 access, drivetrain safety, tires, wheels/lug nuts, clutch operation, and visible hazards.
- Platform-specific checks may be added where appropriate.
- If a tuning vehicle fails a safety or mechanical check, the tuning session is paused until the issue is resolved. Repairs or additional inspection work are billed separately at the current shop rate.
Know Before You Book
$200 Deposit
Required for every service and collected online to confirm the reservation.
Hourly Dyno Rental
Available Monday–Saturday in one-hour blocks. No double booking. Lunch 12:00–1:00 PM is always blocked.
Tuning / Break-In
Tuning requires at least one full business day and may require two. Break-in tuning reserves a full day and is not a final power tune.
Saturday Events
Dyno events are Saturday-only and structured for 5–12 vehicles.
Re-Rack
$100 when a vehicle must be removed and later returned to the dyno for a customer/vehicle issue.
Fuel Swap
$100 per fuel swap for flex or multi-fuel sessions.
CP-Supplied Fuel
2× pump price when CP Motorsports supplies fuel.
Catastrophic Cleanup
$250 when an engine/transmission failure requires dyno cleanup.
Fire Extinguisher
$75 each when an extinguisher is discharged.
